PATENTED BIOSUSTAINABLE™ ADDITIVES
BioSustainable™ Additive added in small amounts to PE, PP, PS,PA, PVC, and PET plastics encourages bacteria from the environment to colonize on the plastic waste surface, and as a result, the bacteria biodegrade and consume the plastic. BioSustainable™ biodegradation does not create microplastics pollution. Moreover, BioSustainable™ technology is designed to eliminate microplastics litter originating from recycling processes.
Post-Consumer BioSustainable™ plastics waste does not require separation from regular waste and can be recycled together.
Since BioSustainable™ biodegradation is purely natural, it can be stopped at any moment by killing the bacteria residing on plastic, and BioSustainable™ plastic can be easily recycled even if it already started biodegradation process by simply placing such plastic waste in an extruder where high temperature and pressure will kill the bacteria and “sanitize” the plastic.

Our patented BioSustainable™ Technology is a cost-efficient way to
- Sustain recyclability, durability, appearance and mechanical properties of regular plastics
- Eliminate microplastics litter originating from the recycling process of regular plastics
- Accelerate safe, natural and microplastics-free biodegradation of not-recycled regular plastics waste
BioSustainable™ Technology induces accelerated natural biodegradation of regular plastics like PE, PP, PS, PET, PA (Nylon), and PVC without the use of chemicals and catalysts. BioSustainable™ plastics biodegrade by bacteria only and do not require UV and oxygen to start the degradation. BioSustainable™ plastics do not contain any bacteria, and all the bacteria consuming BioSustainable™ plastics come from the environment.
PE, PP, PS, PA, and PET BioSustainable™ plastics demonstrate a 3% – 5% monthly biodegradation rate under ASTM D5338 conditions.
BioSustainable™ plastics maintain their durability, mechanical properties and appearance of the original polymers during desired application and an entire service life.
